For all of you paddlers out there, the Elk Lake Eco Centre couldn’t have been located in a better spot. Sitting off of the Montreal River, water is all you see when looking out of our facility. But the fun doesn’t end there. The Montreal River also leads in to one of Northern Ontario’s most popular lakes; the Lady Evelyn. What more do you need?

Whether you’re a beginner and you like the calm waters or if you’re an adventure seeker who is looking to hit some white water, it is all right by our side. Make it a short distance or make it a long one, the fun is all in your hands.

Most importantly, we offer our visitors a dock to load off

of and plenty of secured storage for their equipment. Also, our friends at Elk Lake Work‘n’Play can assist you with your canoe and kayak rental needs.
